Meanings

FLORECER COLLECTION

To bloom is a constant act of renewal, of learning, of growth.

It’s a process that doesn’t end—it repeats, adapts, transforms.

It’s a pause to recognize ourselves, a breath to embrace who we are today.

It’s a reminder that even when the flowers fall, there is always a new cycle, a new chance to be, to grow, and once again, to bloom.

TUNA

Every tear shed was water for the seed that blooms today.

We are nurtured by what we’ve lived through, trusting that everything we’ve sown allows us to grow.

MIRARNOS COLLECTION

When we look at each other, we find ourselves.

Looking at each other is an act between two or more; it is an encounter where we get to know and recognize one another; it is accompanying and truly seeing each other. When we look at each other, we discover ourselves in the other’s gaze:

"The eye you see is not an eye because you see it; it is an eye because it sees you."

Looking at each other is knowing and recognizing ourselves in others’ eyes. It is accepting yourself completely and all that has been lived together. We are not only how we see ourselves, but also how others see us. In the gaze of the other, we value parts of ourselves that escape our own eyes. I recognize myself as whole every time I look at myself, but I also discover myself differently in the gaze of the other. When we look at each other, we truly look at the other person; we give them the value of being recognized.

From looking at each other, many things arise: experiences, relationships, feelings. The pieces in this collection emerge from looking at each other, from our daily practice of seeing one another, in the many gazes we share. Each piece has a unique value and story that originates in the gaze of its creator, but when you look at a piece, new meanings and values are discovered and created; the objects become filled with new things through the eyes of each person who looks at them. The pieces gain new perspectives when worn. Looking at each other through a piece — a necklace, a pair of earrings, a bracelet — leads to encounters between the creator, the wearer, and the viewer. Looking at each other illuminates the stories of the people who created them. When we look at each other, you look at the piece, and the piece looks back at you.

Looking at each other goes beyond seeing; it is connecting. Looking at each other to know and to say goodbye. Looking at each other to remember and to create new values and meanings. Looking at each other from love to communicate. Our gazes carry affection, pain, reproach, empathy. Looking at each other to help, to accompany even when we cannot be there. Looking at each other is not just seeing; it is feeling, knowing, making mistakes, and learning. Looking at each other is loving and caring for one another.

At Nunayú, when we look at each other, we love, recognize, value, and support one another. When we look at each other, you become part of this encounter among us.

SER COLLETION

Being expresses existence—the being that I am in this moment; but being also remembers what I was and points to what I will be. We are the memories, stories, and experiences of who we were, and these make us who we are now. Being does not change; you always were, you always are.

One can simply say—I am—and that is already a coherent and complete phrase. I am, and that is enough. Being is enough. Moreover, being as we are and accepting it is a form of resistance. Resistance to pressures, expectations, and impossible standards.

Simply Being.

Being also characterizes us: I am a woman, I am creative; it recognizes us as we are and allows others to see us too. I am things others are not, and I am also the mix of all these things.

But being is not totality; being is also belonging. Being is connection and co-creation. We are together and with other diverse beings. We share stories, lives, and experiences by being with others: I am part of Nunayú, I am Mexican. We exist in our difference and diversity compared to other beings; all different and all valuable simply by the fact of being, of existing.

MUJERES COLLECTION

Strong, complete, independent, and different. Mujeres (Women) is born from our reality—a reality of 11 different women in Mexico City, all walking together so we can also walk alone, creating the life we want and deserve. Mujeres represents the spaces we’ve created with friends, companions, moms, daughters, cousins—where we can share, create, doubt, learn, move forward, and make mistakes, while seeing each other with love. It reminds us that we are worthy of loving ourselves, of being who we are—each different but each complete, each one being One.
