AMADA
Completa is a cylinder that represents how we complete ourselves. It reclaims solitude, reminding us that it can be something good—that it means being in your own company, and that knowing yourself, discovering yourself, loving yourself, and reclaiming yourself is what makes you whole.
TALUD
Our experiences, memories, and feelings shape who we are today.
Each little dot in Nuestras represents the moments in our lives when we shared, learned, and walked alongside others—moments that have left a mark on us.
LIMO
Each pearl represents one of the women of Nunayú who sits around the table we ALL share. In the same way, each pearl rests around your neck—ALL of them united, even across distance.
ESTAR
Unlike ser, estar is not always the same. Our estar changes, but our value does not change. The jacaranda, for example, is and changes; we usually recognize it by its flowers, but even when it has no flowers, it is still a jacaranda. Because the jacaranda is, while the flowers *are present*.
In the same way, like the jacaranda, we always are and we always are present, but our way of being present is not always the same.
MUTUO
Mutual is reciprocity, giving and receiving, correspondence. To be mutual, one cannot be alone. In mutuality, being becomes something shared, an action carried out by two. In what is mutual, you give part of your being to the other and receive part of the other into your own being.
CIELO - MAR
The horizon is the place where the sky and the sea meet. Where they become sky-sea.
Sky-sea is a conjunction of two spaces that become one. Although the water and the sky never touch, they are always together in the sky-sea. It is a new space that can be seen, that exists, that is despite not being.
Sky-sea represents the beauty of the spaces where parts of our being touch, those horizons that seem to have no meaning, but do, and that exist within us.
MAREA
The tide rises and falls, and falls and rises, and does nothing else. No matter how the beach, the water, or the sand may be, the tide dances only with the moon. Each wave, each tide, is one. The tide invites us to dance, to simply exist, to just rise and fall and fall and rise. We exist, and that is enough.
ORBE
Every body has an orbit. Every being has its orbit, its constant path. Each orb — each world — moves steadily, plays, and runs along the orbit of its own being. This piece also represents that: it is an orbit around you.
LUMINAR
A star that shines with its own light.
Shining is something natural for stars; it is what they are. We do not shine in the same way, but we have something similar to that self-generated light of a celestial body—something that makes us who we are. We also carry our own light within our being.
BRIZNA
1. The smallest or tiniest portion of something.
2. A fine, soft rain or breeze.
3. Something very thin, like a thread or fiber.
*Brizna* means something very small, something diminutive. These earrings are made from the tiniest pearls we could find; it is a piece in which, from these briznas of pearl, we create something new, delicate, and beautiful.
Our being is also like this: a series of fine things—small tastes, ideas, and fears—that make us who we are.
CALMA
Each pearl is different; it is imperfect, it is chaos. But together they create something harmonious, something distinct, something calm. Calm is finding breaths within chaos; it is harmony within imperfection. It is finding your place by being yourself; it is belonging within your being, and belonging through being.
